We took a trip up to New York to see where I grew up and to see my Dad's side of the family. We had such a sweet time visiting with Aunt Dale, her husband Bobby, Ariana, Mark Anthony, Aunt Dawn and Uncle Pete! It had been about 15 years since I had seen them! We also got to go to the church I grew up at and see lots of old family friends, go by our old house, eat real Italian food, and hang with Ashley and David in Manhattan. It was a busy trip!

Aunt Dale invited Aunt Dawn and Uncle Pete over for lunch after church on Sunday. This was so special for Ashley and me because we used to get together with them every Sunday at Nana's house for a big lunch.

Then on Monday morning Ashley and I got to see the house where we grew up. It was a crazy feeling to be back there again! We knocked on the side door (where the office used to be) and the girl let us in to take a look. We really wanted to see the inside of our old house but no one answered when we rang the doorbell. Oh well, it was still really great to be able to see the backyard and peek inside the back windows. Driving up and down the Seaford-Oyster Bay Parkway was really strange as well. On Merrick Road we passed lots of familiar old places, the bagel shop we used to go to, All American, the pond across the street. So thankful we had the chance to see it together.
